Since we only use whole, real foods and no preservatives, our bars are best stored in the fridge long-term. Refrigeration keeps our ingredients fresher for longer and keeps the natural oils in our organic sunflower seed butter and pumpkin seed butter from separating. The bars have a 9-12 month shelf life in the fridge.

They're good-on-the-go or in your lunchbox or bag for 3 days at a time. If you packed it but didn't eat it, no problem, just put it right back in the fridge when you remember!

Our bars ship in insulated shippers with ice packs to keep them cool for most of their journey to you. A quick heads up: If your bars arrive warm and or the icepacks have melted during transit, don't worry! The bars are 100% completely safe to consume! Just pop them in the fridge and they will go back to optimal texture and taste in an hour or so.

For context, the bars are 100% safe out of the fridge in the heat for months, just not years like most shelf-stable bars. We say "good on the go for 3 days out of the fridge" to encourage good storage behavior...long term the fridge is best for optimal taste, texture and freshness.
